This Privacy Policy explains how IG Stories Watcher may handle information when you use this website.

Information you submit

The Story Viewer may process Instagram usernames or profile URLs that you enter in order to perform the requested lookup. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes or other account credentials.

Technical information

Like most websites, the server may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and timestamps for security, diagnostics and service operation.

Cookies and analytics

The current website does not require an Instagram login. If analytics, security or preference technologies are added later, this policy should be updated to describe them accurately before deployment.

Third-party services

The service may rely on infrastructure or data providers to complete Story lookups. Information necessary to perform a request may be transmitted to those providers according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Data retention

To reduce duplicate provider requests, the service may temporarily cache Instagram usernames, numeric account identifiers and active Story results. Short-lived abuse-prevention records may also store a one-way hash derived from the requesting IP address. Cache and rate-limit records are automatically replaced or expire as part of normal service operation.
